On Presidents Day, February 19th, GetShooksports hosted the first annual Mr. Minnesota Prestigious Middle School All - Star event. The Mr. Minnesota event is the official middle school All-Star event of Minnesota featuring the top players from Minnesota surrounding communities. This year’s event featured players that are nationally ranked and featured in national publications. It was a fun filled day of games starting with the Middle school All - Star games, then the Jelly Contest, and capping off the festivities with some featured dunks from GetShook alumni All - Stars for the players and families.
The games were very competitive as players competed for the coveted Mr. Minnesota award in front of a packed house of friends, families and coaches. Taking home victories at the 4th grade level was Team Crossover, 5th Grade: Team GetShook 6th Grade: Team Jelly 8th Grade: Team Splash. The Mr. Minnesota is the highest award given in the state of Minnesota for Middle school players. The collection of talent that participated in the Mr. Minnesota game will surely be tomorrow's high school Stars in the state of Minnesota and nationally.
